There are certain qualities that make a luxury hotel, well, a luxury hotel. In addition to having copious amenities and products from high-end brands in stock, the luxury hotels that we serve as a top travel PR agency possess these attributes and more. This includes providing perks that most other lodging facilities can’t offer.

According to a recent article in The New York Times, a current pattern in the market is that luxury hotels are seeking out partnerships with quality retailers so as to enhance the customer’s time there with additional shopping experiences.

Some of these services include having a phone that’s directly connected to their collaborating store’s personal shopping team for, in some cases, delivery. Others give out gift cards and then some provide their guests with the opportunity to have their closets filled with specific items from the hotel’s collaborating brand before the guests’ arrival.

These partnerships are even happening abroad where customers can receive a free pair of shoes and pedicure.

However, one such luxury hotel taking part in this current trend is a client of ours, which I recently visited this week for a few days, The Mark Hotel, a hidden gem located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan on 77th and Madison. I was there entertaining our newest client, Gogobot, the next big thing in the social media travel service market (http://www.gogobot.com/).

In collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman, The Mark Hotel now shuttles hotel guests by pedicabs to and from Bergdorf, located on Fifth Avenue.

In addition to enjoying this service, guests at The Mark Hotel are also treated to shopping outings that extend beyond the retailer’s normal operation hours with Bergdorf’s director of shopping. And guests in a suite receive even more: a $500 gift card and a facial from Bergdorf’s beauty department.

New York City Top Travel PR Agency Head Stays At The Mark Hotel

As for my experience at The Mark, this luxury hotel is a hallmark of impeccable service, which I can say with assuredness through my dealings with other establishments, more notably from when I represented the Four Seasons, a luxury establishment that’s always striving for perfection.

I will most definitely return to The Mark. In fact, I’m thinking about celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband there in September.
