Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Good Morning America and Fox After Breakfast pre-interviewed the winner. Stories ran in The Wall Street Journal, The National Examiner, Newsday, New York Daily News, The New York Post, Boston Globe, Rocky Mountain News, Seattle Times, Copley News Service, Continental’s Profiles, senior publications and more. This creative concept reached 52 million people.
Bernardaud Conceived and executed press parties to demonstrate the versatility of the pattern Constance for this upscale dishware company imported from France. Invited four designers to do four rooms in each of the seasons of the year with a complete tabletop. Garnered publicity in the leading design, décor and women’s magazines. Also conceived and executed an evening of wedding dresses designed by Michele Roth targeted specifically to the wedding publications, all of which carried stories on the show and the benefits of registering with Bernardaud.
Tetley Tea To introduce the Tetley Tea Folk used in product advertising, LAPR commissioned a full size costume, hired an actor, and arranged for such public appearances as Christmas tree lightings at major malls in the northeast and appearances on the NBC Today Show.
Bon Appetit Magazine Content from the magazine’s pages were promoted. For example, a Super Bowl Beer Party, complete with recipes and decorations, was distributed in press release form. Literally hundreds of newspapers across the country picked up the story achieving widespread coverage. An annual list of “Top Ten Food Trends” was also created for the editor and release nationally garnering extensive exposure.
